Review:The SKLZ Pro Mini Basketball Hoop has the appearance of a professional basketball system, but it is a lot smaller. This basketball hoop is meant to be mounted on the wall or over the door. It does come with mounting hardware for the door. Wall mounting hardware is purchased separately. The components The backboard measures 18 x 12 inches and it is 1/8 inch thick. This is made of clear shatter proof polycarbonate. It is a realistic miniature basketball hoop. This mini basketball hoop is very different from nerf hoops. The SKLZ Pro includes a 9 inch diameter pro grade breakaway rim that is capable of that spring back action. This might make it seem ideal for dunking. However, note that due to the thin backboard, it cannot withstand aggressive play. A 5 inch diameter mini basketball is includes in this set. It bounces and can be dribbled like a regulation basketball. It will arrive deflated and the SKLZ Pro does not come with the pump and needle to inflate it. Mount it This mini basketball hoop can be mounted on the wall or over the door. The door mount that is included with this basketball system includes foam padding to protect the paint. The over the door hanger can be quite thick for some doors. Doors may not close because of this. Through buying wall mounting hardware, this can be mounted to any wall. The Pro Mini can be mounted on any door or wall in any room inside the house. It is addition fun at the office, home or dorm room. The SKLZ Pro is very easy to assemble. It will only take a few minutes and it is up and playable. This SKLZ hoop also comes with a 90 day warranty. Bottom line: The SKLZ Pro Mini Basketball Hoop looks like a professional basketball system. It is affordable and a complete set. Its backboard may be thin and wall mounting hardware is not included, but it is a good miniature basketball system with a 90 day warranty.
