It can easily be mounted on the wall or over the door. It does not come with wall mounting hardware, but the door mount has foam padding to protect the paint. This basketball hoop’s backboard is made of clear polycarbonate. Its dimensions are 18 x 12 inches. It is only 1/8 inch thin. The thin backboard is usually the first component that breaks. A Pro-grade, spring action breakaway steel rim is included with the set. It also includes an 8 loop and 3 ply nylon net. A 5 inch mini basketball is included. Pump and needle to inflate the ball is not included. The backboard is quite thin, even with a steel rim, it cannot withstand aggressive play.
